It’s not the dang wagon…

Consider your people – not the “wagon”

Remember the covered wagon in The Oregon Trail game on the Apple II from 1985?

And all the struggles and mishaps?

Like dysentery for your fellow travelers and then death?

Oh… the heartache of a simple 8-bit game

Frustrated with their current situations…

The weary game players started thinking that the problem must be the game

Or at the very least… the wagon has to be to the problem.

It’s easy to blame external things and look elsewhere.

Here’s the thing…

We all want something like the wagon to be responsible for our happiness and success.

But alas it is the people that help us get to the NEXT stop on the trail.

The wagon (and your business) is just a tool to move a team forward.

The tool on it’s own is useless; it’s your team that needs the most attention.

How can we find the time to work ON the team if we are overwhelmed with the daily grind?

Accountability and Communication is probably the only way.

If this is real for you, ping me.

Of service first,
