Breaking Down the Barriers

After a call with a leader in MSP peer groups, we recognized a few things about growth barriers.

As an MSP owner, it sometimes feels like you have to manage everything yourself.

Daily switching from operations to client relationships to employee relations.

This "putting out fires" approach can drain you and will limit the business to an unnecessarily low gross revenue.

Without a Leadership Team to assist day-to-day you're likely to hit a revenue cap at $1 million to $2 million ARR.

And hopefully you can add 10-15% project revenue on top for one-time revenue.

But you will need to strap in tight to survive the very long work weeks.

I know you are doing the best you can and it's admirable.

The challenge isn't about your personal ability to deliver great service.

The question is about scaling. 👷🏽

Do you desire to break through that flat yearly revenue number you feel like you keep getting stuck on?

There are tools to empower others (aka the Leadership Team) to handle the operational load.

It's normal to want to get free of the "grind" so you can focus on growth ideas and innovation for your clients… so they pay you more per seat.

If you will consider my humble suggestion, growth requires a delegation plan.

🙋🏻‍♀️ QUESTION: What function in your MSP do You have the hardest time delegating?

Tell me if you are struggling with delegating, I'm here if you need a little push.
